About the role
Our docs are where most users decide whether Sigil is for them. This 6-month contract, with a path to full-time, puts you in charge of their structure, accuracy and voice.
What you’ll do
Restructure the docs around real user journeys
Write and maintain guides, API reference and SDK docs
Work with engineers to document features before they ship
Edit the changelog and release notes each week
What we’re looking for
3+ years writing documentation for developer products
Ability to read code and run examples yourself
A sharp editing eye and a plain, direct style
Experience with docs-as-code workflows (Markdown, Git)
Nice to have
Familiarity with LLM or agent concepts
Experience setting up docs tooling and search
